Quiet games for winding down at the end of the day
Some evenings I don't want a challenge, I want a game that lets my brain slow down. Hollow Lantern is my current go-to: dim, gentle, and built around wandering rather than winning.
Farming sims fit this mood too. Harvest Hollow Farm has no timers pressuring you, so a session ends when you decide it does. There's something soothing about watering crops with no clock ticking.
These slower games also tend to be kind to your battery, since they rarely push the hardware. That makes them ideal for late-night play in bed without watching the battery percentage drop.
If your library is all fast-paced stuff, add one calm game. You'll be surprised how often you reach for it.
